• The relationship between beam quality, image contrast, and radiation dose
• Safety principles and UK regulations: IRMER, IRR, and ALARP
• Imaging modalities and commonly used views in clinical practice (e.g., AP, PA, Lateral, CXR)

The presentation provided a useful foundation that future sessions will build on as we explore subspecialties and research literature.
